I'm a former Senior Investigator in the U.S. Senate. For eight years, I've built the kind of energy and climate policy expertise that turns ideas into accountability and action.

In the House and Senate, I've led major investigations, authored bipartisan legislation, and developed congressional strategy addressing the full arc of the climate challenge.

I'm also the founder of Augusta Advisory LLC, a climate and energy policy consultancy available for projects across advocacy, research, and the private sector. My work has spanned both offense and defense:

  • Conducting oversight of major U.S. oil and gas companies that revealed misleading patterns of communications about climate change and the energy transition

  • Working with EPA whistleblowers that exposed violations of federal funding law

  • Co-leading Senate staff delegations to UN climate negotiations

  • Passing bipartisan legislation to modernize data for resilient infrastructure

Drop me a line to discuss policy or oversight work you’re planning for the next Congress and beyond:
